Unitrans

Unitrans is the transit system operate by University of California, Davis, that runs in and around of the campus. During my last year of university at UC Davis, I was given the opportunity to propose/create an updated, modern brand identity for Unitrans. It was a final project for one of my design class where we take design request from the school departments or events. My assigned group researched on what define Unitrans and decided to redesign the logo, bus stop sign, bus passes and render a new bus shelter design. Our group agreed on creating a more modern and establish look for the brand, yet still remain memorable and recognizable to the student and local residents. With that in mind, we corporated the single deck bus (which is often seen in campus/around town) and a slogan to portrays one of the many aspects that make Unitrans unique: Unitrans is 90% student run.
